Restaurant La Yedra: A Must-Visit in Cazorla

While La Yedra is slightly off the beaten path, the journey is worth every step. As you approach, the sight of locals enjoying tapas will signal that you've arrived at a culinary hotspot. The flavors will confirm it.

They offer a lunch menu that is a delightful steal at just 12€, featuring a variety of homemade dishes. The tapas are generous and incredibly tasty; during our visit, we were served fried calamari and a shrimp skewer with pil pil sauce.

One standout dish was the bull's tail croquettes, arguably the best we've ever tasted. Additionally, the "alpargata" with serrano ham, tomato, and olive oil was a revelation. Although the restaurant boasts a lovely terrace, we settled for an indoor table due to its popularity.

**Tip:** If you want to explore Cazorla comprehensively, consider booking a guided tour to enhance your experience!

Bar Casa Tino: Tapas and Good Vibes

Located in the bustling Plaza de Santa María, Casa Tino is one of the many bars in the area known for its excellent tapas served with every drink at reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they are eager to recommend local specialties.

The highlight of our visit was enjoying a sunset on the terrace, where the ambiance was simply delightful. The rin-ran, a typical dish from the region, was a particular favorite of ours.

Taberna Lusco: Culinary Delights with a View

Situated in the picturesque Balcón de Zabaleta, this restaurant is slightly more upscale but well worth the price for the stunning views it offers. The menu is diverse, catering to a variety of tastes.

Expect to find an array of options, from vegetarian dishes like fried eggplant with honey and cheese to sharing plates including bull’s tail croquettes, lamb bao, and chicken tikka tacos. The average cost per person is around 15-20€.

El Rincón Serrano: The Perfect Spot for Tapas

For those seeking to indulge in quality tapas in a lively atmosphere, El Rincón Serrano is the place to be. Nestled in the vibrant Plaza de la Corredera, this bar is always a popular choice among locals.

During our visit, we found it bustling with patrons, and unfortunately, we couldn't try their famous bacalao (cod) tapas. However, the buzz around the venue indicated that it’s a must-try for future visits!

Cafetería Route 66: A Cozy Spot for a Nightcap

This charming café, dedicated to the iconic Route 66, was where we ended our night. Conveniently located across from our hotel, we enjoyed a beer on the terrace accompanied by delicious meat stew as a tapa.

The friendly service made our experience even more enjoyable, making it a perfect pit stop to unwind after a day of exploring Cazorla.
