Our only reason for leaving this paradise was our dwindling funds; otherwise, we might have stayed indefinitely!

We chose to stay at Pattaya Beach, as we encountered some pesky creatures in the waters of Sunrise Beach that had us itching for days (though later travelers told us they likely didn't exist!). From Ao Nang, we hopped on a shared van to Krabi’s bus station (60 baht), and lucky for us, a bus to Trang left just thirty minutes later (115 baht). The entire journey took about six hours. After staying overnight in Trang and comparing agency prices, we opted for a combined transport package to Pakbara port, followed by a speedboat to Koh Lipe for 600 baht. The minivan ride lasted about 1.5 hours, and the boat ride took another 1.5 hours.

In Trang, we stayed at Ko Teng Backpackers, where a shared room cost us 180 baht. On Koh Lipe, we opted for Serene Resort, enjoying a cozy bungalow complete with a bathroom and Wi-Fi for 500 baht per night.
